Welcome to Lake Superior Music Teachers Association!

LSMTA is an association of professional, private music teachers located in the north west region of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  We are affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and with the Michigan Music Teachers Association (MMTA).

Our goal is to provide a forum for ongoing teacher and student development, a venue for performance and assessment, and a vehicle for fun group events and educational outreach.

Congratulations to Regional Semifinal Winners!

Isabel Valencia and Garrick Ensminger were selected as winners in the Intermediate Division at the MMTA Regional Semifinals in Midland on April 14.  They will be competing at State Student Finals on May 5 at Michigan State University.  Congratulations Isabel and Garrick!
